Hossa Kylmäluoma 1:25 000 - Hiking Map

Hossa, our country’s newest national park, offers a glimpse into the past stretching back millennia: The oldest settlements date back 10,000 years, and the rock paintings at Värikallio were created 4,000 years ago.  Waters flowing from three directions converge in Hossa and continue on toward the Oulujoki River and the Gulf of Bothnia. There are 90 kilometers of marked trails for hikers, skiers, and cyclists. The trail along Lake Somerjärvi connects Hossa to the Kylmäluoma hiking area, where the trails wind through esker pine forests and marshes.
