Pyhä Luosto 1:25 000 - Hiking Map

Pyhätunturi National Park was established as early as 1938. It was expanded to include the magnificent fells of Luosto in 2005. The area is part of a mountain range over two billion years old, of which steep quartzite fells and magnificent gorges remain. Among them, Isokuru—which stretches between Kultakero and Ukonhattu—is the deepest valley in Finland. The various hiking destinations are connected by a network of trails designed to meet the needs of hikers, mountain bikers, skiers, and snowshoers.
